Fulfilling the Great Mission Commission in a global context is this year’s
Synod Assembly theme and focus.
This will be an assembly you will NOT want to miss, be late for, or from
which to leave early. We will begin our assembly with
worship with Dr. Tony Campolo preaching. Worship will be on site and
will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the hotel so be on time or early if at
all possible.We will be experiencing ministry beyond our congregation doors, our
synod boundaries, and our nation’s shores. We will
have many different opportunities to learn about Christian ministry
around the world. Arts and crafts and cultural music will take us
from one place to the next.
Another exciting change for this year will be that your registration fee
will cover all meals and all are on site. You will not
have to leave the hotel in search of a restaurant. For those who like to
venture out you always have Sunday afternoon for lunch to be
adventuresome. There will be help regarding lunch opportunities in
Dallas for those interested. +
