STEPS TO FOLLOW TO GET READY
-
STEP #5: RESOLUTIONS
Each assembly considers items of New Business ("resolutions"). Resolutions can only be brought to the floor by Voting Members (not agencies, conferences, congregations). They are automatically referred to the Committee for Reference and Counsel which will, in turn, make a recommendation to the assembly that the resolution be adopted, defeated, referred or otherwise directed.
