Synod Assemblies have become celebrations of the ministry and mission that we share together as well as opportunities to gain insights, to become re-invigorated, and to conduct minimal business. This assembly will do all of this and more.

Living DiscipleLife
Amarillo Civic Center
Amarillo, Texas
April 23-25, 2010
At the 2010 Synod Assembly we will take the theme of DiscipleLife to the next level. Having spent three assemblies remembering and celebrating the way God has prepared us for DiscipleLife ("Called" - "Formed" - "Gifted"), this assembly will beckon us to live it
Living DiscipleLife
The NT-NL Synod has its own unique way of living out its faithfulness to the mission and message of Christ. We do this first of all through our congregations and members and, secondly, through the way we act collectively in service to our region and world. The assembly will showcase the five ministries that have come to define the heart and soul of the NT-NL Synod - the Mission Endowment Fund, Briarwood Retreat Center, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sierra Leone, Campus Ministry and the synod's Fund for Leaders in Mission. We will honor them, tell the story of their faithfulness, and share the pride we feel in calling them our own. They are the very hand of love and service that this synod extends to the world - our way of sharing in
God's work. Our hands.
