At the 2010 Assembly Bishop Kanouse invited congregations into a re-imagining of our life together to meet the demands and opportunities of the 21st century. At the 2011 Assembly, he will formally introduce the DiscipleLife Alive! initiative that will carry us into the future ... together:
how do you envision the church in the 21st century?
what should Leadership Formation for DiscipleLife look like?
what excites you or disturbs you about the DiscipleLife Center for Mission at Briarwood?
what questions do you have about funding for the Mission Endowment Fund or for the Jubilee Centre in Freetown, Sierra Leone?
Curious? Want to make a comment or ask a question? Blog !!
Sometimes, do you ever wonder what you are called to do? If God, wanted you to have a personal mission statement, what would it be?
Well, guess what he does: Matthew 19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
This center and this campaign gives everyone in the NTNL the opportunity to help fulfill Christ's charge to us, through the Holy Spirit and the DiscipleLife Mission Center.

Bethel, Avoca rocks! Same for Rolling Plains and West Conferences! Great Living DiscipleLife Celebration today. Thanks for great conversation, reflection, worship, and hospitality today! Nearly 400 people Celebrated DiscipleLife across our territory over the past six months...keep it up NTNL,
As a member of the Communications Team of DiscipleLife Alive!, I've had a chance to become more closely acquainted with the purpose as well as the recipients of the funds from this intitiative. Our Mission Territory is on the right track! It seems to me that those who have had exposure to DiscipleLife Alive are really intrigued or excited to learn more, particulary how the Briarwood Retreat Center will become a mission (contol) center for our territory. What have others been hearing about the interest, excitement of folks in the NT-NL?
Cool Idea to share ideas via blog. Spoke to our council at Calvary San Angelo Monday night. There was excitement about technology for web conferencing and distance learning for leadership training. It's so difficult for us to get people to the Metroplex. Thanks again for getting this blog started.
