  • Boundary Awareness Seminars: Mary Ellen Durham, LPC, will offer three one-day seminars covering the key issues related to professional and sexual ethics. The events take place in Tyler (Feb. 19), Waco (April 2), and Abilene (May 7).
  • Thank you! We collected 296 cell phones at our Tri-Synodical Theological Leadership Conference. Our offering, to be divided between Lutheran Disaster Relief - Gulf Coast and the ELCA Fund for Leaders, was $2909.
  • A Lenten Retreat, God's Promise of Peace, features the Rev. Dr. Gary Wilkerson. The retreat will focus on the experience of healing peace through meditations, music, prayer and discussion. This Lenten Retreat takes place at Calvary Lutheran Church, Richland Hills, Feb. 20-21.
  • Lenten Study Resource: Holy Lent, Holy Land, Holy People is a free, downloadable study guide for Lent which focuses on the Sermon on the Mount. It is available to you from the SWT Synod Peace Not Walls Task Force.
  • Lutheran Social Services is opening an office in Fort Worth at 5608 Malvey Ave., Suite 109. The offices will be formally dedicated at 3 p.m. on March 5. Info contact 817.731.3737.
  • Aggregated Purchase of Electricity: For the time being the congregations expressing interest in purchasing energy as a group do not collectively meet the minimum threshold for such a purchase.
