Calvary Lutheran Cabaret
Friday, March 12 at 6 p.m.
The annual Calvary Cabaret benefiting the Nelson Center will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7620 Baker Boulevard, Richland Hills. A delicous dinner prepared by Chef Phillippe (Pastor Phil Heinze) and a show featuring vocal stylings of two of the twin-cities favorite divas: Susan Schoon (Pastor Susan) and Nicole Fensted. National Day of Prayer Luncheon
Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 12 noon
The National Day of Prayer Luncheon sponsored by ThanksGiving Square will be held at The Tower Club in Dallas. The speaker is Dr. William Lesher, a Lutheran pastor, former president of the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago (LSTC) and currently president of the Board of the Parliament of World Religion. The theme of his speech is "How America's Freedom to Pray Affects the World's Freedom to Pray". Cost for the luncheon is $60 per ticket which includes parking ($25.00 of the amount is considered a donation). Tables are $600.00.

Needed Chairs for Church Hall

Senior Fest 2010
March 6, 2010
The theme of this year's ALOA Senior Fest is "Living and Sharing Your Story" and will feature Tom McDermott as the keynoter. Mr. McDermoot is a fulltime storyteller and musician. He is an odained United Methodist minister and continues a music ministry in Fort Worth where he resides. The eight workshops will deal with various aspects of "telling the story".
Senior Fest 2010 will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church, Dallas (6411 LBJ Freeway-I-635). Several pastors of the NTNL Synod will be workshop leaders: Pastor Joel Berthelsen, Pastor Wendy Berthelsen, Pastor Jane Mar and Pastor Mel Hammer.  Deadline for registration is February 24 and the cost is $25 per person which includes a hot lunch.

Lutheran Marriage Encounter Weekend

April 30-May 2, 2010

The next weekend will be April 30-May 2, 2010 at a local D/FW hotel. The weekend begins at 7.30 p.m. on Friday and ends around 5.00 p.m. on Sunday. Space is limited to 35 couples. If you have husbands and wives whom you especially feel deserve a Weekend, please encourage them to applay as stoon as possible. Applications will be accepted under 4 weeks before the Weekend as space is available.

The funds designated in the NT-NL Synod Mission Strategy for Internship Support Grants are for the purpose of assisting congregations in their ability to support and sustain an ELCA Seminary intern serving a formal internship within a congregation of the NT-NL Synod. A Unified Resource
Lutheran Songs Today, Vol. 1 is the first unified resource (sheetmusic, CD, lectionary, and scripture worship guidance) of alternative songs for worship by Lutheran singer-songwriters. Finally here is away to take the songs our youth love so well and bring them into your home congregation.

Faith Lutheran Church, Flower Mound
Come enjoy upliftinging contemporary Christian Music by the band, "Keeping the Faith". Assorted coffees, beverages, and desserts will also be provided for your pleasure. All are welcome! There is no admission and the coffee and desserts are free as well.

           1. Be sure to check the building after worship and meetings to assure that all persons have left the premises.
           2. All offerings should be deposited immediately after worship and not left in the building overnight.
           3. Be sure all doors are closed and if there is an alarm system, it is properly activated.
These precautions will help protect your building and its contents.
