The Women of the ELCA is a national
organization with regional organizations in each of the ELCA
synods. The organization is dedicated to three mission areas
-- community, growth, and action. The three areas help the
organization achieve its one mission: to mobilize women to
act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.
COMMUNITY: through community, each
woman learns to value herself and others as created in God's
image and redeemed in Christ.
GROWTH: Through growth, each woman is strengthened,
developed, and equipped in a variety of learning
experiences.
ACTION: Through
action, each woman articulates and acts upon her faith as a
disciple.
