SUMMARY:Preaching Planning Workshop Fall 2015
DESCRIPTION:This event will focus on scripture study and preaching preparation for Advent and Christmas. \nThe time will include presentations on lectionary texts\, group discussion about contextual realities and emerging themes\, and individual time to reflect on preaching possibilities. It’s a great opportunity to gather and focus preaching ideas for the festival season before the fall disappears. \nThis event is also available via webcast. See registration form for details! \nThe Rev. Kendra Mohn is Teaching Pastor at Trinity Lutheran in Fort Worth. She is also a PhD candidate in New Testament at Brite Divinity School (TCU). In her academic work\, she works with issues of power\, gender\, and the Roman Empire as the context for the New Testament.
