The average age of regular church attendeees keeps going up. Professions of faith are far and few between. And yet\, in the midst of what seems like terrible news\, God keeps showing up. New faith communities and creative ways of being church keep forming. People who feel lost\, unwanted\, or leftout keep being found. \nStop saying the church is dying! \nJoin Nadia Bolz-Weber for this one-night only event\, as she brings to light some of the beautiful and creative ways in which the church is not only alive\, but thriving. \nHosted by our friends at Arborlawn UMC\, 5001 Briarhaven Rd\, Fort Worth\, TX 76109. \nDoors open at 6pm. Event: 7-8pm. \nNADIA BOLZ-WEBER is the author of two New York Times bestselling memoirs: Pastrix; The Cranky\, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint (2013) and Accidental Saints; Finding God in All the Wrong People (2015). She is an ordained Lutheran pastor (ELCA) and still works as the founding pastor of House for All Sinners and Saints in Denver\, Colorado.
