It’s been a busy week in the NT-NL Synod, ELCA as we have opened registration for our 2022 assembly. https://www.ntnl.org/event/2022-ntnl-synod-assembly/ It has also been a busy week at Briarwood Leadership Center as finalizing of repairs from the 2021 winter storm and related deferred maintenance needs continue to be finished up (yes, it has taken almost a year, anyone who has experienced damage in this time can relate for sure).
Despite this Briarwood is hosting groups as it is able. Today a group from Grace Lutheran-LCMS in Arlington were onsite doing a planning retreat. They are staying overnight and enjoying the beautiful January weather. Briarwood is able to host small groups and is ramping up potential capacity based on demand. They also are seeking your input as to desires for Summer 2022 programming as well as have sent out a survey to NT-NL congregations regarding active youth participation. Please visit https://www.bwtx.org/pages/summer-camp-2022-update where you can find that information.
Despite all the challenges we have faced since March 2020 I am thankful to Briarwood staff and leadership for continuing to seek to make this investment we have made produce fruit for the church. #NTNL #BWTX #InMissionTogether
