On this Wednesday in Holy Week we recieved wonderful images of hope and connection from our partners in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sierra Leone via WhatsApp.

As Covid-19 has come to Sierra Leone the church has again begun it’s work in education and provision for the communities it serves. Particularly revising and re-educating people on hygiene and handwashing. Tools they learned well in Ebola. They also do so with governmental officials as well as interfaith partners.
Grateful for our siblings in Christ and Bishop Momoh. And for the generosity of NT-NL Synod, ELCA in that we were able to immediately respond to this need and send financial gifts for supplies and education. We accompany and walk with our partners in building people and community. #NTNL #ELCSL #InMissionTogether
