Dear Partners in Mission:

It is back to school week for many of our districts across the NT-NL territory. While going back to school means the end of summer leisure for many, it is also an exciting time and a good time to get back into rhythms that are familiar.

Across our territory it also means many congregations are doing backpack blessings. Praying over students, teachers, administrators, and all those who help make school happen, including parents and other parental figures. This is good and holy work.

So please keep an eye out for school busses, kids on bikes, parents walking kiddos to school. And if you don’t have anyone going back to school in your life please join us all in prayer for them at this time.
