On Sunday April 16th we hosted a worship service of Thanksgiving and Transition for Briarwood Lutheran Ministries. This was a time for us to gather and give thanks for all that has been at the property at 670 Copper Canyon Road, as well as to look forward in hope to what God will do with Briarwood as it continues to serve. With the sale of the property closing on April 19th, it was important that we took this time to remember all that has happened here. The lives that have been impacted and the memories. But we also remembered that, just as with our congregations, the church is never a building or property. But God’s gathered and sent people in mission.
Thank you to Aaron Colwick who coordinated the worship music and to all who attended. It was a good day of thanksgiving and transition.
