Heard this quote on a leadership coaching call this morning discussing social media marketing and church engagement…
“Marketing is essential to sharing your product. But good marketing will only make a bad product fail faster.”
Some may not like to think of the gospel or church engagement as a product. But the wisdom here is spot on. You can spend a lot of time and energy trying to get people to consider engaging your ministry. But if when they do it doesn’t “deliver the goods” as an old seminary prof liked to say, they won’t stay engaged.
Praying for all our NT-NL Synod, ELCA leaders this morning that you are encouraged in your work and proclamation of the good news. The world desperately needs the free gift of the gospel. Praying we will “deliver the goods.” #NTNL #InMissionTogether
