It is officially sunset on June 3rd on the territory of NT-NL Synod, ELCA. I wish all my siblings who practice the Islamic faith and our inter religious partners here in Northern Texas/Northern Louisiana a blessed Eid al-Fitr (the end of the season of Ramadan).

A blessed celebration to all who have engaged in a holy time of prayer and fasting. In the coming year I pray we can work together to end the cycles of misunderstanding and violence that have plagued our world. To respond in hope and in our ever more diverse context be an example of understanding, mutual learning, listening, and peace.
