Wednesday, Jan 31st, I went to “dessert church” at my kiddos church (Trinity, Fort Worth: Pastor Kendra Mohn, Pastor Matt Schroeder). A great example of creative growth (one of the goals I outlined in 2016 for our congregations) connecting the school and church through food, dessert, and worship centered on the “Faith 5.” Sharing at table highs and lows, singing songs intergenerationally, hearing a bible story, reflecting on it, and then being blessed on our way.

This is a ministry congregations of any size could replicate in some unique and creative way in their context. Wonderful to witness before heading off to an hour of sparring class at karate. #DessertChurch #TrinityFW #CreativeGrowth #NTNL #InMissionTogether
