Event Navigation
From the Perkins Office of External Programs:
“An incredible opportunity awaits you—ministers, lay leaders, church members and staff—this fall! Perkins School of Theology is bringing N.T. Wright, Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the University of St. Andrews, prolific author and retired Anglican bishop, to SMU’s campus. The event, Simply Wright: N.T. Wright at Perkins|SMU, will be held November 15-17, 2016. This event is open to all and offers opportunities for various levels of interest. Registration for lectures, discussions and a range of workshops offered by church leaders and the Perkins community can be found at http://www.smu.edu/Perkins/Events/NTWright. I encourage you to register soon to reserve your space.
Among several of Wright’s books to be discussed during the event, Simply Good News: Why the Gospel is News and What Makes it Good, is the featured book. A book discussion titled “Get Ready for Wright” focusing on Simply Good News will be headlined by Perkins professors, Billy Abraham and Jack Levison, on Monday, October 24, at 6:30 p.m. For more information on “Get Ready for Wright,” email bridadmin@smu.edu or call 214-768-3483.
