This meeting of the Public Witness Team will serve as a “listening event” (discussion opportunity for us) as part of the early study phase taking place churchwide, which will eventually lead to the development of a Social Statement on Women and Justice.

At this listening event, we will challenge ourselves to be intentional about identifying the significant biblical and theological groundings for the issues that are raised.   The most significant issues identified will be conveyed to the team by Sarah Skinner, who is engaged in developing the social statement.
