Had a beautiful drive up to Sherman, TX Dec 2nd to be with the folks at Trinity and Pastor Craig Sturm (whose spouse has deep ties to my home congregation of Gethsemane, Austin).

Wonderful hospitality and worship. Beautiful music and worship. A highlight was a cello and piano duet of Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.

Sherman is the northern end of the fast growing US-75 corridor. To get there I drove through the quickly developing areas of Frisco, McKinney, and the towns of Anna and Melissa which are poised for very rapid growth. I am grateful for Trinity’s presence (it is the only church in Sherman on US-75) in this fast growing part of our synod. #NTNL #TrinitySherman#InMissionTogether
