On what is typically a “low Sunday” in church, when attendance drops from Easter Sunday, we had good attendance this morning at Good Shepherd in Irving. Last night they said goodbye to Pr. Brad Carroll, as he and his wife, Sharon, prepare to move to Allentown PA for a new call. Today, I led worship and preached a word of hope for them about this new season in their life. We then had some quality time in conversation about the transition process and what is to come. I look forward to getting to know these folks more in the coming months. One of the fun parts of this call is accompanying congratulations in this journey.
