We had a joyful celebration at Immanuel Lutheran in Killeen this weekend, as we celebrated the installation of their new pastor Veronica Webber Smith.  Pr. Smith and her family moved here from Washington state in December to begin their new chapter in Texas  

As usual, most of the Heart of Texas pastors showed up to support and welcome her. We are all thrilled about the energy and gifts that Pr. Smith brings.

It was also a joy that Bishop Gronberg was able to make it to this installation too, as he co-presided with the conference dean, Heath Abel. The congregation trueness out in great numbers on a Saturday afternoon to welcome them as well.
