World Malaria Day 2015
The people of NT-NL have now raised $152,046.33 out of our commitment of $160,000. We have less than $8,000 to go!
World Malaria Day was April 25. We chose to observe World Malaria Day at a later date, so we could give it the attention it deserves (since we were just a tad “overscheduled” on that day!) The Malaria Team has suggested that congregations make a final push on this campaign on Rally Day, or you can choose another date that will work best for your congregation.
We are so close to meeting our goal! Let’s help make malaria history! Find more information and resources to use in your congregation at ntnl.org/malariaday2015.

Learn more about how to transform your congregation from membership to discipleship using the ancient faith formation process known as the Catechumenate.
The North American Association for the Catechumenate (NAAC) is an ecumenical organization that partners with a variety of denominations in North America to provide faith formation resources and training for congregational leaders.
Upcoming events include the Annual Gathering in Baltimore, Maryland, July 30-Aug. 1, featuring Jessicah Duckworth and Paul Hoffman speaking on the theme “Transforming Congregations Through Spiritual Practice: Creating a Discipleship Community”. Register here.
Also a Catechumenate Training Institute for congregational leaders will be offered Oct. 1-3, at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Sacramento, California in collaboration with Trinity Cathedral and the Episcopal Church of St. Martins. Online registration available soon
Scholarships for seminarians and first-call pastors are available for both events. Contact registrar Devra Betts at devrabetts@gmail.com. For more information and online registration, check out the NAAC website at www.catechumenate.org.
