This Sunday, Sept. 6, we renew our commitment to end racism—a task that will take much, much longer than one day to achieve.
The NT-NL Public Witness for Peace and Justice Team will be organizing events and creating resources to help congregations engage in conversations about racism and privilege. These conversations can be scary, awkward, uncomfortable, unpleasant… but as disciples of Jesus we are called to love our neighbors, and to listen to the experiences of others, especially “the overlooked or ignored.”
