After a couple of Sundays without visits, I was back in the saddle today with a visit to New Hope in Keller. The last time I visited there was when they were in a call process about five years ago. That process resulted in a call to Pr. Miles Holder, who has been serving there for four years now. Pr. Holder is out on medical leave right now, so I picked up one of their open Sundays.
New Hope is a fitting name for them as they have gone through extensive repairs and remodeling after serious damage from the winter freeze in 2019. Their sanctuary and fellowship hall are refreshed and lovely.

But the biggest change from my last visit is the conference room and pastor’s office. They have switched places. The pastor used to be located in the larger corner office and the conference room was the smaller room adjoining the main office. Makes a whole lot of sense that the council meets now in the bigger room and the pastor is right off the main office. I liked seeing the change and the renewed energy in the congregation. It was a nice return visit!
