“Is God Calling You?” Discernment Retreat
Have you been wondering if you are called to do more as a leader in the church? Is the call to ordained ministry tugging at your heart? This is the opportunity to explore that further.
At this retreat, we’ll share in conversation and questions as well as discovering more about the different roles in rostered ministry. We will also spend time talking about the candidacy process and programs for those who may wish to take that next step in ministry. We will gather at the NT-NL Synod office (2620 W. Grauwyler Road, Irving, TX) on Friday, January 26 at 6:00 for dinner and conversation. The evening will conclude at 9:00. Saturday, January 27 we gather again from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday will be provided. If you need overnight lodging, please indicate that with your registration. Location will be a nearby hotel. We do ask for a registration fee of $25 to help underwrite the cost and for your commitment. The remainder will be covered by the Briarwood Endowment Fund.
The registration form can be found here. If you have any questions please reach out to Pastor Kris at kris@ntnl.org.
