Camp Chrysalis Anniversary Liturgy
Camp Chrysalis was dedicated on June 18, 1950. They are inviting congregations to honor the 75th Anniversary of Camp Chrysalis in worship this month.
In the last 75 years Camp Chrysalis has grown from a little over 40 acres to just under 100 acres. Buildings and play equipment have been added and removed, but the core of Camp Chrysalis has remained. Generations of youth, adults and families have had the opportunity to step away from their day to day, come to this beautiful, holy ground and grow with Christ.
Since the anniversary is on a Wednesday. They are encouraging congregations to offer 75 seconds of silent prayer on June 22 and then close with a prayer of thanksgiving. They have included a litany and prayer of dedication that echoes those shared in the service 75 years ago. Thanks be to God!
