Join King of Glory at the Movies
King of Glory, Dallas is sponsoring a free screening of the documentary film, 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture on Wednesday, June 19th at 7PM at the Angelika Film Center Dallas. The film documents the process and mistranslation that led to the first use of the word “homosexual” in Scripture, the publication of the Revised Standard Version. Through interviews the film also documents the personal and social impact the mistranslation. There will be a discussion following.

World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honor refugees around the globe. It falls each year on June 20th and celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution. World Refugee Day is an occasion to build empathy and understanding for their plight and to recognize their resilience in rebuilding their lives.
