NT-NL Easter Appeal Matching Gifts Offered
We have received generous lead gifts totaling $10,000 from three congregations (King of Glory, Dallas; Trinity, Fort Worth; Preston Meadow, Plano) to serve as matching funds for gifts to the Easter Appeal for the NT-NL Fund for Leaders as part of the ELCA Campaign. These dollars will match gifts given to the Fund for Leaders to help us achieve our goal of $25,000 for the Fund. There are many ways you can contribute or raise funds:
- If you haven’t designated Lenten offerings, these could be used.
- A special Easter Sunday offering opportunity.
- Bring your gifts as your Synod Assembly offering.
Thank you for being generous stewards and helping us raise up leaders for the life of the church.
ELCA Conference of Bishops Statement of Support
The ELCA Conference of Bishops has approved the following statement offering support, partnership, and prayers for the March for Our Lives, its satellite city events, and our children and youth who are leading us forward as peacemakers:
