The week of September 3rd was a busy time at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA. Wartburg is one of 7 ELCA Seminaries and historically has strong ties to Texas.
NT-NL Synod, ELCA was well represented at the prolog week activities as we have 5 students currently enrolled at Wartburg (some pictured here with classmates). Additionally the Rev. Violeta Siguenza was installed in her new role as Director of the Centro Teológico Luterano Multicultural (CTLM) https://www.wartburgseminary.edu/ctlm/
Violeta will be doing this work from the Dallas area, with an office at Emanuel Lutheran Church; Iglesia Luterana Emanuel, Dallas but offering events and learning opportunities across Texas.
Grateful for our communities of learning in our church. This weekend our NT-NL Parish Lay Ministry Academy will hold its first classes of the fall. Also your synod council will be meeting Saturday September 10th and Veronika Czutor ordained at Central Lutheran Church in Dallas Saturday at 4pm.
