Pastor Kelsey Fitting-Snyder moved to Waco, TX in 2019 for her husband Jon, to begin his PhD program at Baylor. Pastor Kelsey served at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Waco for five years. In her previous experience Pastor Kelsey has served in Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Iowa, and Texas.
Her primary responsibilities on synod staff are candidacy (leadership formation) and mobility, and any other needs surrounding congregational care.
Pastor Kelsey is a graduate of Susquehanna University, and received her MDiv from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. Born and raised in Lebanon, PA her parents still live in the house she grew up in, across the street from the dairy farm. Pastor Kelsey loves all things Philadelphia sports, Penn State, and Disney. Pastor Kelsey and her husband Jon live in Waco, TX with their two orange cats Jarvis and Felicity.
