Saturday January 8, 2022. Two years have passed since an NT-NL Synod, ELCA Parish Lay Mission Academy graduation. 8 candidates stepped forward at Iglesia Santa Maria, Irving to be commissioned into their word as lay leaders in their congregations.

New this year was also the recognition of graduates of our Escuala Secondaria de Latinx Educacion de Theologica. Also joining us were representatives of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America churchwide staff. The ELCA participated in this program through a grant that included NT-NL and the Arkansas-Oklahoma Synod. Another sign and commitment of how we are #InMissionTogether #enmisionjuntos. A joyous day and grateful for the work of these disciples of Jesus sent into the world. #NTNL
