In January of 2018 I was honored to represent #NTNL and the #ELCA at the consecration of Bishop Azar of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land. It was a powerful experience to be with Lutheran siblings from around the globe as we honored this important ministry of our Lutheran Church. One of the most important ministries of the ELCJHL are the schools they operate in the occupied West Bank. These schools serve 3,000 children, boys and girls, Muslim and Christian. So please receive this prayer of blessing for all of our teachers and students and school staff from Bishop Azar and join me in supporting and praying for them as they begin a new year.
