“God’s work. Our hands.” Rally Day Sunday week around the NT-NL Synod, ELCA was a busy a festive affair. Congregations across our #MilesAndMiles connected around service, celebration, and kicking off a new program year. Many shared photos of various events on facebook, most highlighting how they are involving youth and young adults in cross generational service and worship.
It is exciting to see this priority I have lifted up to the synod taken so seriously and shared. Many also shared photos of back to school blessings and other occasions to mark the beginning of a new school year and hashtagged #NTNLBacktoSchool2018

But they are a representation of the work being done across our territory to share the good news of Jesus Christ through service and proclamation. To develop servant disciples and share the gift of our Lutheran Confessional heritage with our children and our communities.
