We celebrated worship and also the NLIC youth sponsored Souper Bowl of Caring fundraiser and food collection. Members were invited to give food gifts as well as monetary gifts into bowls designated to each team in the football game this evening.

Overall almost $2,000 was raised and 1000 plus food items donated to support the pantry at Mount Olive Lutheran Church – Dallas. So thankful for these connections in which we support local ministries doing #InMissionTogether.

For the record, the amount of donations indicating the LA Rams would defeat the Cincinnati Bengals was significant. Guess they were clairvoyant in their giving. Regardless we are thankful for the many gifts given and for the time together in worship. #NLIC #NTNL
