Remy Remmers is another homegrown candidate for ministry, who has now been called to serve in the Oregon Synod. Because they wanted to be ordained in their home congregation at King of Glory in Dallas and because travel from the Oregon Synod, Bishop Gronberg stood in for the ordination service.
But thanks to the wonders of technology, Remy’s new council president and synod Bishop were able to take part in the service along with a few of us who were physically present.
I’m grateful that Remy will be serving the church in Oregon! Their congregation will be blessed by their new pastor. And I am also grateful for the chance to connect with colleagues in person today too!
