This month we have installed two new pastors in our synod. Pr. Kristina Truhan was officially installed as Pastor at Central Lutheran in Dallas on Sept. 14.

Central is part of the Eastern Mission Conference so Pastors Jeff Bergeron and Jeff Borgwardt, Dean and Assistant Dean if the Conference, presided at the service. I was unable to attend so I am grateful to MEF Director Linda Ness for the photos.

This past Sunday, I was able to attend the most recent installation for Pr. Sarah Derrick, Pastor of Care and Outreach at Faith Lutheran in Flower Mound

Faith is in the Dallas Area Metro North Conference, so their Dean, Pr. Neil White, co-officiated with Bishop Gronberg.  Pr. Derrick serves with Pr. Rusty Sullivan.

The congregation planned a beautiful service and reception, after which Pr. Derrick got to go home and pack for her first First Call Pastors Retreat, which started on Monday in LaGrange.
