Today was a repeat visit for me to Calvary in San Angelo. They have their Affirmation of Baptism service on Pentecost Sunday, so I was invited to preach and preside at the confirmation of three young women.

This is certainly a privilege for me to participate in these services. I don’t work directly with confirmands any more, so I feel honored and blessed when invited.

The congregational picnic afterward was just an added bonus!
