One of the hallmarks of coaching is the work of asking good questions. On this Sunday, August 16th, I was struck by the questions of the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association (ELEA) Devotional shared via email with me. Building off Paul’s words in Romans 15, they invited me into reflection on how I am learning and what I am doing in the midst of this time. What is the joy that can be found in the midst of our challenges?
The questions they asked are…
Reflect: What is one thing you did not think possible last March that you are doing today? What is one thing you need to figure out that currently seems impossible? What is one way to look at that impossibility differently?
These are great questions for us. I commend the devotional to you. And please pray for and support our ELCA schools in this time…
