After spending a few weeks mostly home bound thanks to hip replacement surgery, I took my new hip on a short road trip to visit the congregation at Lord of Life in Glenn Heights. Pr. Vicki Taylor has been serving them for 14 years. This was my first visit to this congregation.  It was a good way to re-enter the work of the synod. This is a very welcoming congregation, with some clearly beautiful taste in art, as can be seen in the beauty of the unique baptismal font and processional cross.

I’m happy to be back on track with my visits and to get my spirit fed again!
