On a very fine Saturday afternoon this past week, over 35 members of our four Bosque County congregations gathered to have conversation. They spent the whole afternoon talking about how they have been, how they now are, and how they can be in mission together. Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (Norse) hosted the gathering, but there was strong representation from St. Olaf in Cranfills Gap, Trinity in Clifton, and Faith in Meridian.
The energy that filled the room was very positive as they talked about their history, and continued as we moved on to the conversation about their challenges and opportunities. This was just the beginning of the conversations we’ll be having with these four congregations, as we explore the possibilities for future mission and work together. I’m excited to see where all of this will lead!
