The Mission Office is moving!
As of January 20th, the address for the new DiscipleLife Center for Mission will be:
680 Copper Canyon Rd.
Argyle, Texas 76226
Please make sure your records are updated. We will be discontinuing the use of the P.O. Box, as we will no longer need it. All mail must be sent to the address above!
For the moment, the office phone number will remain the same. We hope to be settled in the new building in January, but will keep you updated if our moving date… moves!
Please be patient with us through the last weeks of December and first weeks of the new year as we make this major transition to our new home.
Electronic filing for 2014 parochial reports will open January 7, 2015. The reports will be at www.elca.org/congregationreport – you will need the user name and password given to you by the ELCA.
Clergy and lay leader reports will be available in January.
Links and downloads for all annual reports can be found at ntnl.org/annualreports.

Affordable Clergy Sabbaticals
Since January 2010, Living Waters Lutheran, an ELCA congregation in North Port, Florida, has provided rent-free housing to pastors willing to preach once or twice a month and lead a Bible study. Participants in this unique program stay at the congregation’s 2-bedroom condominium in a gated, golf course community, just a short drive to sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.
This program is designed for pastors and seminary professors planning a sabbatical, newly retired pastors, and interim pastors between interim assignments.
Christian Home Exchange
After their year-long ministry exchange with a Norwegian pastor and his family, Dell and Diane Shiell began to encourage other Christians to do home exchanges for affordable sabbaticals and family vacations.
What is a home exchange? Two parties swap homes. The concept is, “You stay in my home, while I stay in yours.”
