A couple of decades ago, I thought I may someday be doing Campus Ministry if I was lucky. I’m under no illusion that it could still be in my future, but I do get opportunities to hang out with college students once in a while. Last week was one of those times as I filled in for Campus Pr. Jim Rowe at the weekly dinner and Bible study.
Campus Ministry at UNT is actually in a transition time following the retirement of previous Pr. Celene Welch. The board has come up with a working purpose statement for this process and at the dinner the students had discussion about their input. There was good sharing by the group all around. These young adults give me hope for the church!
