In consideration of and by accepting this grant from the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana (NT-NL) Synod, the mission/congregation hereby agrees that should the mission/congregation at any time leave the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) for any reason whatsoever, the mission/congregation will be responsible for repaying this and additional grants in full prior to receiving a release from the NT-NL Synod.
Grants are typically awarded beginning in March. Status report of grant usage, with pictures, is due as soon as grant money is expended by the ministry and no later than one calendar year from the date of receipt of funds. Failure to do so will disqualify you from being considered for additional grants until such time as the Status Report is received.
If you receive a grant, it will be expected that members of your ministry attend and support the annual “Seeds That Change” fundraiser in October of the same year. We encourage you to share your ministry story and make a donation to the silent auction.
