Was a joy for NT-NL Synod, ELCA to host the Directors for Evangelical Mission (DEMs) of Region 4 (Arkansas-Oklahoma, Central States, Nebraska, and the three Texas synods) at Briarwood the last three days. The DEMs work as a liason between congregations, synod, and churchwide to facilitate new and renewing ministries across our church.
It was wonderful to have them on site at Briarwood. Staying in Quail Run hotel style rooms that after months of delay due to insurance and construction are finally able to house guests again. They also visited San Gabriel, Alvarado and participated in a Misa de Día de los Muertos. It is good that we can host them for this time together. #NTNL #BWTX #InMissionTogether
