Messiah’s Mission Fest Helps Troubled Youth

Messiah in Weatherford held their annual Mission Fest on Oct. 10. The proceeds from the event went to benefit Crossroads Youth Ministries of Parker County, a faith-based non-profit organization working with youth “trapped in a dysfunctional environment.”

NT-NL Malaria Campaign: $160, 217.26

You did it!! Together, we met and exceeded our mission area goal of $160,000 for the ELCA Malaria Campaign!

Your donations helped the ELCA Malaria Campaign reach and exceed their $15 million goal!

The ELCA Malaria Campaign has now reached nearly $15.1 million in total giving. We rejoice with our sisters and brothers in Africa that all 13 malaria programs are now fully funded, and we can begin to dream about extended, expanded or new programs. This month, we recognize the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Mission Area, which has reached its $160,000 synod fundraising goal! We give thanks also for the Pacifica Synod, which has reached the $350,000 milestone in giving. We will report specific synod giving numbers in next month's Go and Do News. In the meantime, if you'd like to know your synod's current giving total, please email us at malaria@elca.org.
