A week ago I shared this post regarding two NT-NL Synod, ELCA young adults, Rebecca and Pete, from Abiding Grace Lutheran Church excelling in their sport. Today, these two both placed third in state in their 6A weight classes. Amazing effort, a huge accomplishment. So grateful for their families and community that support them.
In that post I also asked who else among our #NTNLYouth were doing great things and Pastor Paul Mussachio from Preston Meadow Lutheran Church responded sharing about Ty Volk, a senior from PMLC who also is wrestling at the State Championships. Ty today won the 5A-152 pound state title in dominating fashion. He has not had a point scored on him since December and went through the state bracket with 3 wins by fall and a 5-0 win in the state final. He is committed to wrestle at OU next year.
So amazed and impressed by these young people in our midst. Keep sharing the stories friends, they encourage us all. #NTNL #InMissionTogether
