Clinicians and Pastors are invited to join a conversation on Responding to Family Violence: Integrating Spiritual and Clinical Perspectives with Rev. Dr. Joretta Marshall, Executive VP and Dean of Brite Divinity School, Professor of Pastoral Theology and Pastoral Care and Counseling, on Wednesday, October 26, 9:00am – 3:00pm, at First Christian Church, 601 N Lee Ave, Odessa, TX 79761. Registration is $20 and includes lunch. CEU available.

Rev. Dr. Marshall has explored issues of violence through her scholarship and work as a pastoral counselor. She is particularly interested in the ways that religion can be both mis-used, and yet an incredibly rich resource, for persons. The staff of the Samaritan Counseling Center in Midland will provide deeper clinical expertise and an awareness of the resources that are available.
