Preston Meadow hiring Preschool Director

“After 24 years of faithful service to our preschool ministry, our current Director, Elizabeth Costales, is retiring this summer. We are thankful for her years of service and for building our preschool ministry from the ground up. With her well-deserved retirement, Preston Meadow Lutheran Church and Preschool is now engaged in seeking our next preschool director to build upon this successful early childhood education ministry to our community.

The Preschool Director operates and manages all aspects of a faith-based child development center, including human resources, financial responsibility, family relations, marketing, educational programs, and physical facility. The Director promotes a positive image of the ministry within the community and establishes strong working relationships with state licensing authorities, local and county health departments, and other regulatory agencies. Currently, there are close to 100 children enrolled in our preschool with nearly 30 staff employed (full-time and part-time). A minimum of three years of experience in a similar sized preschool is required, and a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. The Director must exceed state licensing requirements, including education and experience.”
