The reason I had to leave Resurrection before their program ended was to join the congregation of First Sagrada Familia in Garland for the installation of their new pastor, the Rev. Moises Carrasquillo. He began serving there February 1st.

FSF is a bilingual congregation with an English language service and a Spanish language service. They are part of two conferences – the Eastern Mission conference and the Latinx conference.  So the Deans of both conferences participated in the installation along with Bishop Gronberg.

There was a full house for this service and tremendous joy in the place. There was also great participation from neighboring pastors too. A day of joy as this congregation moves into its new chapter.
